Seoul Searching

Anneyeong!

Oh yeah the first word I learned in Korea!
Got my Visa and excited on what to do in Korea. The first thing in mind is shopping!Common Who doesn't want it???
Shops that came to my mind at once were Faceshop, Skin food, Tony Moly, Etude etc.
Cosmetics are every girls bestfriend =)

Day 1:
My first day isn't that good. Heavy rains welcomes me from the airport.
They call mid June to July as monsoon. So i went straight to the hostel that I am booked and just take a nap since walking around isn't a good idea.
I woke up around lunch time so I decided to look for a restaurant and I end up going to Coffee Prince shop and had a coffee instead of a full meal.

After having a walk at Hong dae I decided to avail of their City Tour that can be found at Seoul Station to be familiarized of the place. My fist stop was at the National Museum.

I went to Myeong Dong and shopped bags and bags of skin food products etc. It hurts my feet and legs but it dodn't matter since I have just in my hands all the things I need for my beautification ; }

It was a looongg day and my body needs to rest for a while,,

Day 2:
I decided to eat at a nearby restaurant. Since I can't read the menu the manager just gave me a plate of beef and rice. I asked him to take a picture of me and luckily he just took another shot using his polaroid camera, he gave one copy for me and the other one was posted on their wall wink wink*
; )

Me at the wall of fame LOL!

The nice manager

Since my stomach was full and my body just had enough rest, I am now ready for my journey..
I went to Deuksugung Palace and missed the changing of guards due to weather condition.

Again, I headed to the best part of my trip........ shopping! I went to Namdaemun and bought anything that I think is nice. It's not easy to get there so I have to ask and look at the map every now and then.
Bought accessories that are intended for sale and some pasalubong as well. It didn't stop me there so I went all the way to Namsan Tower. I don't think it's a good idea to go Namsan alone. The place is so romantic and love birds are everywhere. They have this promise of love and will seal and lock it in with a pad lock. haha yes litereally! but i found it very cute. I wish to bring my family next time here. To get to the Namsan I had to ride a cable car for approximately 5 minutes.

Overlooking from the tower.

It's been a looonng and tiring day so my mind is set to have a goodnight sleep once I arrive at the hostel. But big NO! This will be my last night at Seoul so I said yes for the invite of my roommates to have a soju and go clubbin. I am not really prepared for the night and no high heeled shoes to wear.
We first went to the other Kimchi hostel and saw that everyone was already sober so we just headed to the clubs named Mama beer and Papa beer(not so sure if it's beer or bear). Named just after the famous Koreanovela Full house I guess. Will not go into details but here are some crazy pics of crazy but nice people I met. This is not part of my itinerary but this was the highlights of my entire trip so far! =)

We partied till dawn! it was fun meeting new people and making friends without having a second thought. Though there are some differences with our colors still it doesnt matter at all as long as we are enjoying the night.
Here comes the last part of my stay... Packing up for my flight.
Before I leave Seoul I had a walk around Hongik University and bought last minute pasalubong.
I took a rest and then went to the airport to wait for my 6am flight.

My tired feet!

Now I understand why a friend of mine keeps coming back to Korea. There are so many reasons why based on my own experience. Let me have a quick list of it.

1. People are nice.
2. The place is clean.
3. I love skin food and faceshop. LOL!
4. I love their fashion statement.
5. There are so many tourist spots around Seoul.
6. and if you are a Koreanovela fan you will enjoy every corners of Seoul!

I wanna go back cause I miss a lot of Spots like Lotte World, Everland, Banpo Bridge etc.

So many spots but so little time.... as they say! Kamsamnida! xoxoxo

Important Note: Excuse me with my grammar =)
