Vday @ Land Below the Wind

I have no idea how Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia looks like but I booked 2 tickets for valentines day. No regrets cause the place is perfect for couples like us. The food is quite expensive but you can always go to the Filipino Market wherein you can buy fresh seafood ranging from 300 to 500 pesos. Its like RM25 to RM40.
One thing bout KK also is that all the public toilets has fee it's RM.30 every entrance, so I alwasy joke around to my husband not to pee every now and then!
Seafront during day time
Seafront at night

Seafront or waterfront that's how the locals call it has been our favorite hangout place.
You can have a drink  while waiting for the sunset.

We went to Manukan Island on our 2nd day.  How to get there? 1st  we went to Jesselton Point and book for a ferry.
It will cost you like RM17 back and forth and when you reached the island you have to pay another RM10 per head.
A lot of tourist like us enjoy snorkeling because of it's rich underwater features.
Personally I enjoyed swimming with the fish =)

We left the island at around 4PM and headed back to the city. After returning we had a walk at Waterfront and ate dinner at Filipino Market.

Ofcourse my most anticipated day! Sunday ---> it means sunday market at Gaya street.
I'm excited to buy pasalubong and ekek =)
After almost half day walking and searching for pasalubong we decided to eat at one of the locals restaurant and have a taste of their local food.
I had Laksa noodles(curry) and my hubby a beef flavored one (forgot the name). After sunday market we went to Waterfront again, yes again! for the nth time LOL! to have some drink and food for dinner.

We always passed by to this Mosque but never had the chance to go in there since hubby is just too lazy for some walk.
Oh by the way there's one thing I like the most in KK, Vices are very expensive! One bottle of beer is like 1 case here in the Philippines as well as for the cigarettes =) love that!
Well here are some of the pics during our travel.

Bon Voyage! Till next time =)

My Favorite meal at Big Chill
Feb.4,2011, this day is one of the memorable day spent with a friend.
Thought I can only get high @ bar drinking alcoholic drinks. Never thought Fresh bar will do the same lol!
Just had a nice and surprising conversation with a friend! People have their own stories and problems.
It's really hard to find someone that you can trust and can tell anything. As I always say everyone has his/her own "skeleton in their closet" (big or small). We have some stories that we're not too proud to tell. Stories that can't buy and not written in a pocket book. True stories that will make you cry and will make you a better person.
I thank you for the trust and for the friendship. Your one of a kind and so do I! You know who you are. =)
