Lezzz go Norte!!

This is my first time to go Ilocos Norte,,
Based on reviews Ilocos are very rich in heritage. Very much true!! We passed by lots of historical places,, old houses and churches.

We had our first stop at Baluarte (Chavit's farm) and saw his collection from feral to wild animals. We can see his house all covered of gold paint and glass from the farm.

What amazes me is the bonsai tree on the top of his house. It's surreal and it's like your living in a fantasy land.

2nd stop was at Vigan(Kalye Crisostomo) and we enjoyed exploring the place. We also went to Ferdinand Marco's mausoleum. According to them his body was covered with wax already.

We also had the chance to visit the old church in Paoay. It was perfectly build. Seeing old places like that makes me proud I'm a Pinay ;) Truly Ilocos maintained and preserved historical places. We headed to Pagudpod for some relaxation. On our way we passed by the romantic windmills in Bangui and the Bojeador Lighthouse. Fell inlove with the windmills which as if their dancing to the chant of the air.

Finally after almost 13 hours of drive from Nueva Ecija to Ilocos Norte were at our final destination... Pagudpod!!!- it made Madel scream to death when she finally had a peek at the Welcome note----> Welcome to Pagudpod.

No wonder why many tourist still visits the place despite of its location, The beaches are beautiful with its white sand.

We stayed at Hannah's, a corporate owned resort and decided to stay overnight. Early the next day we packed up and drop by at Fort Ilocandia and Thunder Bird. We didn't explore much at Fort Ilocondia and headed home.

It was a long drive,, so tiring but all worth it! Good thing we decided not to bring Martina to the tour, she will not enjoy it coz much of the time was at the road,, driving...
Our vacay will never be complete without having a taste of Bagnet ,rice cake of the The Sisters and the chichacorn!!!

Happy Happy Birthday!

Another reason to be thankful for! I just celebrated my 25th birthday..
Celebrated with officemates at Dads,, Ate at Frutti Froyo with Tonee (her treat),,
Thanks Much Biss!!
Went at Dampa, my Inlaws treat for us,,
Thank You Lord for all the blessings!!!
Psalm 30:11-12

11 You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,

12 that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.

Who's your mama?

If we were asked who's our mom we often answered them by our mom's name. Well as for my mom I will describe her as this... She grew up in a small town of Sta Cruz, Marinduque. Raised with so much love and care. She is the 3rd to the oldest among the 7 siblings. I can say that she has been raised with more attention among the rest. It is because of her condition. She has been diagnosed with Appendisitis and undergone with operation at her early age. With that, She is more blemished and not into household tasks.
She studied in Manila and took up HRM. Knowing her as the "not into household task" she decided to went back home after college. For her, life without her parents beside her is just hard. She tried to live on her own and applied as sales lady at one of the supermarket in Manila. I can still remember how proud she is and bragging about how she was chosen. To make it short it's because of her appeal ;)
Because of her appealing beauty and good character no wonder why she has many suitor. She's one of the gullible person I know and very funny in many ways. I also like the way she dress, all eyes on her with her dress to impress look. When she met the man of her dreams at the municapal office where they both work, she finally got married and decided to adopt a child since she can't bear a baby.
She was raised with so much love just like the way she was raised. Diciplinarian at times but that is for her own sake. She was her first mentor, teacher, adviser, friend and my mamu.
Words are not enough to thank her for all the love and sacrifices she gave me. Unconditional love it is. She has this power of motherly instinct I guess.
Thank you mama for the love and sacrifices. Thank you for being the best mom for me. Thank you because you've never been selfish in giving your heart to me. I know that at times we have arguments but in the end I still run back to you.

Now my mom is a successful Principal in our town.

There’s a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking. But behind all your stories is always your mother’s story, because hers is where yours begin.

A million thanks to the supermom ever!

1ST birthday

It's amazing how time moves so fast. It was just like yesterday when I am still pregnant and wondering how am I supposed to give birth. I can describe my feeling as mixed emotion! fear and excitement it is,, and now.... my baby just turned 1. Yes! she's now a year old,, as she grows she's learning a lot of things like kissing, talking like "ate", "dede" and "dadi"
I admit I'm jealous coz she' can't say mommy for the mean time, but I heard her before saying mama. She can also walk more than 4 steps forward and she can climb the sofa >_<
Anyway, her birthday was held at Jolibee Las Pinas. It's really fun and tiring but all worth it. Jollibee is just one of the best party for kids. I don't know why children loves Jollibee, but maybe because of its appeal. I thank all the visitor who came.
Thanks to my inlaws for sponsoring the event. Me and hubby took care of the cake,I bought it at cake's are us(MOA). Bought the cute dress and shoes at landmark together with her ninang Tonee and lastly bought the loot bags and toys at Divisoria.
I posted higlighted pictures in the event ^_^
